Aluminum Sulfate Al2(SO4), also known as Non-Ferric Alum Lumps,  commonly known as filter alum, is a white crystalline or liquid compound primarily used as a coagulant in water treatment to remove impurities. It is highly soluble in water and is extensively used in paper manufacturing, sewage treatment, dyeing textiles, and reducing soil pH.

Applications of Aluminum Sulfate:

• Personal Care and Medical: Its astringent properties make it useful in styptic pencils for treating minor cuts and in antiperspirants.
