Applications of Sodium Bicarbonate:

• Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care: It is used to manufacture antacids to relieve acidity. It is also a key ingredient in toothpaste (whitening/abrasion) and deodorants (odor neutralization).

• Food and Beverage Industry: Sodium Bicarbonate functions as a leavening agent in baking and as a carbonation agent in beverages to create fizz.
