Sulphamic Acid

Sulphamic Acid (H3NSO3 'or' NH2SO3H), also known as amido sulfonic acid, is a strong, colorless, water-soluble inorganic acid primarily used as an efficient descaling and cleaning agent. It is widely used to remove mineral deposits, rust and grout from industrial and domestic equipment. It is generally safer to handle than other strong acids like hydrochloric acid, as it does not produce chlorine gas.
