Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is a colorless, oxidizing liquid, slightly more viscous than water, commonly used as a topical disinfectant, bleaching agent and sanitizer. It is a strong oxidizing agent with molecular formula H2O2, consisting of an oxygen-oxygen single bond. It acts as a disinfectant, bleach and oxidizing agent. It is widely used to disinfect wounds, sanitize surfaces, treat acne and bleach hair or textiles.
Applications of Hydrogen Peroxide(H₂O₂):
