Sulfuric Acid 98% (H₂SO₄) is a highly concentrated, oily, colorless-to-yellowish and extremely corrosive liquid, often referred to as technical or commercial-grade concentrated sulfuric acid. Sulfuric Acid is commonly known as oil of vitriol. At 98% concentration, it acts as a powerful dehydrating agent, oxidizing agent and catalyst. It is a versatile industrial chemical used widely for manufacturing fertilizers, detergents and chemicals, as well as for metal pickling, petroleum refining and in chemical synthesis.
